David you are King for the day as your sprit for this color pattern is profound.

Someone emailed me and asked if I had a piture of the Standard of Perfecton of a Plymouth Rock.

I dont but if you are a breeder you fix this picture in your minds eye or print this picture out and frame it and put it in your breeding pen to look at.

I have not seen anything better that Schilling photograhped and touched up.

We talked about gravy bowl look or derby hat look on the underline he has it.

For Anthony this is the sweep in the tail that needs to be breed for. Not the Langshang look.

Off to work see you tomorrow. Love those Rocks. bob

Please do. If I need to get you some cash to offer John to get a bird, or eggs, I will do what ever it takes. I very much appreciate any help from you or others. And IF they like anything from me, I will send them, or you what ever you like. You like some Buffs eggs? Just ask!

thank you tons Walt

Bill

I will look at his birds and we can go from there. I don't need any money at this point. I just checked John's show record with white Orps. He is a Grand Master Exhibitor of White Orps with 225 points. He is also a GM in RIR LF 163pts, WC Black Polish LF 465pts. He has over1200 APA total points and that doesn't mean a whole lot to some of the people here, but in showing that is a big deal! He doesn't buy birds, he has bred all these winners.

No, as far as I know he has never had Cornish. There are two LF Cornish Breeders out here. Gary Agaginian and Chris Tomayo. Gary has the best birds.

Walt,

That will be great. I will do anything for you forever if you can help me with my Whites. To people who help me within the breed I give birds, eggs too for nothing. That is how we as breeders can make a difference to better the breeds we choose and love.

thank you Walt, your a god!

P.S. If I am late on my return posts it is cause the wife dominates the computer on the weekends. And we know who really runs our homes, lololol

I think this hobby should be about helping others. I had a lot of help along the way. I will see John Friday unless he is judging somewhere. I can email him and see if he has anything. I'll let you know.

My wife does that too and the funny thing to me is that she barely knows how to turn this thing on. hahaha

Walt,

If you hear of any good news, just PM me. And we can work together. I do a form a trap breeding and you can custum make your eggs to order. I can put any Buff cock/cockerel on who ever you like. For free ofcourse.
lolololol Now I love her. But, I do notice that I tend to encourage her to go shopping alot on weekends, without me ofcourse. lolololol

Why not also share a pic of a print I seen on EBAY that is from the 1890's. This is not even ten years after the Black Orpingtons were introduced. Great tool is as said before look at pics of who's winning in Poultry Press

I checked a few pics on the Brit Orp thread. When I said the Orps are looking like Cochins I hadn't seen those pics. All they need is feathers on the feet and a little more downward curve on the tail to be a Cochin. I would love to see what the bodies look like under all those feathers. I bet that there isn't much there. Their heads are tiny! There was shot of a black one from the top down and it looked like a pinhead.....hahahaah They are very cool looking to me, but they aren't Orpingtons.

As they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I LOVE the look of the English Orps, and I don't care what is under the fluff. However, I do happen to have some, "American" Orps, bred to the APA SOP I imagine, since they came from Dick Horstman and he is an APA judge. What do you think of these 2 blues? They are nearing 6 months old, and are just now filling out.
