What a great thread it took me all day to read.Great birds, but no LF Dark Cornish I looked threw 159 pages and no big dark cornish. The picture of the LF White Cornish,I hope this is not the best of the show stock out there.Where are all the LF Dark Cornish breeders out there?I have a few from two different breeders ,got a trio from one guy and three hens for another not sure the line they came from.I also have a pair of Columbian Rocks from a show breeder they are a little to dark for hem,but I am very happy with them.
I look forward to talking to some of you I feel there is a wealth of knowledge on the website and this thread.Could some one can help me upload a few pictures that would be great.

There are very few Standard Large Fowl Dark Cornish. There may be some at the Poutlry Show in January at the Lake City Fla show. There is a good stain in The Carolnias and a strain in Flordia. Maybe a few on the west coast. I had a great trio twenty years ago that I swaped for a trio of large fowl Reds. My male was a great bird and massive his named for a fellow who swaped him with me Butch from La.

There was a fellow named Russel Roy from La. who was a big cornish guy and got these birds from the Carolinas.

Maybe someone knows who the top breeders of this color pattern are in large fowl. I have the bantams today. I love them bob

Hahahaha, no you don't! Hope all is well with your flock! Ya know what continues to amaze me is that these guys hardly eat any feed. They prefer to forage for most of their nutrition. It worries me. I make sure they have fresh feed and water every day, yet they forage vigorously and eat very little commercial feed. Do you have this same experience?
