Roy has many breeds of chickens when you go to his web site you will seem most of them

He got many birds and chicks from Superior Farms when they went out of business. He is honest and wants to help new folks become good Standard Breed Chicken Breeders. No hatchery stuff on his farms. bob

Spoke with Roy this morning. they are loading for Shawnee and the APA National!

I told him about Walt's joke. He wants to speak with Walt that! Actually, he thought it was funny. Said taht he was related to Gene Autry....aka...the singing cowboy, and was named after......Yep, you guessed it.....Roy Rogers! So it really does not offend him. Actually, I am told Roy sings real well!

We wills tart loading our birds soon. Planning on leaving Monticello as soon as I wake in the morning. Most likely by 4am. May have to carry Jacob to the car. I would have him walk on his own, but he may end up in a chicken coop.

LOOK WHAT I'M GETTING...I've got a crazy smile on my face. I've been waiting (not very patiently) for Wynettes SPPR eggs, but in the meantime I'm getting Kelly's / Happy Chooks 9 mth old gorgeous girls. hope to pickup this weekend. This will really kick start my breeding program. Now a roo and some more eggs and hens and I'll be set! I feel so lucky!
