my beautiful, gentlemanly protector, malcolm---not yet full grown in most of these. his comb was dubbed by nature--frostbite got him the winter before i bought him.

after all his tailfeathers came in and he is a little more of his adult size...he is a little bigger still than shown here, nowadays.

with some of his mixed laying flock girls, to give you an idea of his relative size...

I can see the heads being that way...but you're SURE the feet should be like that?! Looks like the worst case of scaley leg mites I've ever seen! I'd feel awful walking into my pens everyday and seeing birds that look like "The Elephant Man".

I want a pair of those! Then when I decide I want to order more chicks or eggs, the wife will have to approve... otherwise I'll tell her I'm getting more GaDong Taos... she's agree to ANYTHING to keep that from happening!

They are ugly as a night in a Mississippi jail, but so weird that I do sorta like 'em.

Terry, Do you think they are "heritage?"

I could certainly see these things on an endangered list ..... YUK, I would think not many would keep the ugly things.

But, then again, there are weird people out there, like Walt and you.
