Do Jersey Giants

I would recomend doing faster growing breeds like Reds or Rocks.

Jersey Giants are dual purpose chickens, but they excel as a meat bird with their great body size. They are well-suited to producing very fine and large capons. The young birds grow relatively quickly but take time to fill out their hefty frame to produce a marketable bird

ALBC

ALBC may have that on their site, but a true Jersey Giant bird will not be anywhere near marketable weight until 9 months old or more. Production strains will reach their full size around 6 or 7 months.

It does not say how Long it takes for them to grow out. But. That is what I would guess too. I'm just saying they make good Capons

thank you ive done lots of reasearch already i read that thread a couple of times before i think im gonna order a bunch of roo chicks of a bunch of different breeds and try them out and if i like how that certain breed turned out i will go to a breeder to get them i wish i could just only buy from breeders but that would be to exspensive
