Nope...it's not dead.....everyone is just busy watching college football or cleaning coops and taking pictures.....at least that is what I was doing all day....mostly cleaning but I did get a few pictures taken. Here is a picture of the New HampshiresLooks like I killed this thread so I will not post for five days. Give it what you want. bob
We went to a local ag fair today.. Lots of dairy cattle and poultry! Fun to introduce friends to the world of poultry. Of course the roosters were the most captivating with their very colorful feathering. One rooster felt the need to scratch vigorously in the shavings covering my son's soccer coach. I barely kept a straight face as he brushed off the offensive shavings with indignant swipes. He did continue to ask a few questions. And his wife was interested in a pen of doves. Good turnout of ducks , geese and 2 turkeys, too.Looks like I killed this thread so I will not post for five days. Give it what you want. bob
Wow, I love this pic....I must have looked at it a few dozen times by now!Nope...it's not dead.....everyone is just busy watching college football or cleaning coops and taking pictures.....at least that is what I was doing all day....mostly cleaning but I did get a few pictures taken. Here is a picture of the New HampshiresReds(yes, I caught that in your post...another test?.......) that I got from Kathy this spring. They make a beautiful sight against the green of the yard. I hope my cockerel (all the way in the back against the fence) turns out as nice as Matt 1616s.........
