He's eating well. Had to poke my finger in his feed to show him the way but he's doing it on his own now. Have to tip the little water dish to help him drink coz he's too little to reach his head over. When he isn't sleeping he's calling out to me to come pick him up. so cute. I like his little racing stripes. He lost his egg tooth today too.

hi I have to ask, what box do you use to keep the eggs in while you sleep? I wonder if it's possible to do a makeshift incubator like this in case the power goes out, lol

So I've been doing this with a serama egg. I started to get really prominent, healthy veining in it, but after I candled today, I think the egg is quiting.

The veining is lighter today, and looks like it receded some. Out of the three eggs I had, that one was the only fertile egg. Sucks so bad! I'll give it a few more days, and see if it gets some more life back in it.

. It was a thick wooden jewelery box about 5cm flat X 10 X 10 with foam lining the lid and base + black satin. Pretty lavish for eggs. But they were my babies.

Yes lol. It gets a bit like that!

You feel like a mother with a newborn after they hatch too. My husband kept laughing at me because i would fall asleep and jump up in a panic to check on it everytime it made a peep. Which was often.
