Book Club!

I read A Good Girl's Guide To Murder (By Holly Jackson) the other day. It is a great book. Young Adult; with adult themes, sorta, swearing and a bit of talk about Rape (duh, YA :p)

I use a kindle. I cracked the screen a bit when a dropped a torch (flashlight?) on it. It was going flat and I wanted to finish my book. 🤦 Mistake.

Sad. But funny.
I'll look the book up. I just started the Kay Scarpetta series. I'm pretty sure I've read a few of the books in this series.
If you have kindle unlimited, you might enjoy the amusing, Davis Way series by Gretchen Archer.
I really enjoyed reading the Nate Shepard series by Michael Stagg. I'm hoping for many more books in that series.

I'm currently reading Dragon Teeth by Michael Crichton. My 6th book by Crichton, I'm really enjoying it so far. It's quite a bit different than my usual fare of scifi and pulp adventure. It's based on real events and takes place during the "bone wars" at the dawn of paleontology. More specifically the harrowing account of a young college student who played a part in the discovery of the brontosaurus.

I finished this book recently.

I never watched her on TV but she's a very good writer. She discusses her complicated relationship with her mom.

That's exciting! :ya
I feel like a newbie to books because i just Started using audible this year :D
It is very hard to wade through all the junk to find good books on kindle unlimited and audible. I open a lot of books before I find keepers. I also read a wide variety of genres just to find page turners.
I'm not a deep thought person. I'll read pretty much anything if it holds my interest.
