Books on Breeding Chickens?

I just wanted to ask someone, that if you have a buff orpington roo,and barred rock-americanas-&buff orpington hens what will the chicks turn out like the rooster or the hens?

For most genes, then birds inherit equally from each parent. A few genes are sex-linked and males inherit from both parents, but females only from their father.

Buff is a hard colour as there are a number of different genotypes that create the colour.

buff orpington X buff orpington should = buff orpington

buff orpington roo X barred rock hen should = barred males (possibly buff barred or crele?) and non-barred females

you didn't specify the variety of your ameraucanas.
