Every one of the cats I've had has been meant to be! Maybe people who do cat shows get this into it...but otherwise I feel like cats just grace us!

Good for you! Hope she turns out to be the right one, it's early times yet.
About cats; I have always had 'just cats', from random sources, that landed in my lap for one reason or another.
My daughter and granddaughter, on the other hand, have gone the purebred Bengal route. Don't recommend it myself. Beautiful to look at, but 'interesting' temperaments, and serious health issues due to very small gene pool. Stick to mutt kitties!
