Wow,that is way to small for that many birds.I believe it should be 2 sq ft. Inside coop per bird and 8 sq ft. Per bird outside.On the inside it is about 3 x 2’. But there are lots of stands above ground level and rafters and things on different levels that they can jump up and sit on. And the outside it’s about 5 x 4’.
I'm afraid how you raise them doesn't matter. I have coddled some roosters who were sweathearts, and ignored some who turned out to be aggressive.I have a 2 year old rooster that suddenly decided to start attacking me. I never let my chicks set on me or jump on me. Even as chicks. I have spur marks on my arm and beak marks. I have trimmed and filed his beak and spurs but he still leaves marks.
And elderly woman told me to carry a spray bottle of plain water, set on stream, and spray him every time he comes after me. So I'm going to try that.
Mine is in an indoor pen that is 5'x 5' x 6' tall with an outdoor run of 10' x 20 and it's only him and his hen.
