Emmit, is GORGEOUS!!!!
Well we didnt hear from the guy about his Boston I was supposed to get, so I had contacted someone else about one, and she emailed me today and offered her to me for only 100 as she needed some money REALLY bad for a bill. UGH I hate that for her, such a young girl with way to much on her plate.
Well they drove to meet us almost half way, she is precious, but TERRIFIED of any and everything!
The girl told us that she had only had her for about 6 months, that the person she got her from had her for breeding, that she has already had one litter of puppies. I asked her if she is spayed, she said she doesnt know! OMG anyway, she looks to be about 4 or 5, though the girl told us she is only 2 yrs old. We received NO vaccine records, NOTHING with her, but a ratty old leash and collar.
She is under weight, coat is a coarse. She to me is a rescue from a poor and I mean that literally, the girl told me things I wont repeat.
I honestly wish I would of brought more cash with me, as even as broke as we are, we have it better than she does.
I am going first thing tomorrow and getting her a new food, (she sent her with some generic mess)
I am calling the Vet first thing when they open, and getting her in for vaccines, worming, and testing.
I tried to take some photos of her tonight, but she is so scared that all that you see, is EYES! lol Poor girl
She came to us with the name Trixie, and while I love the name (right here at Halloween its so appropriate) I wonder if giving her a new name, wouldnt help to put the past in the past for her.
sigh, I know I could of bought a "better" specimen of the breed, but I think she will be just fine once she settles in, and learns the ropes around here. and finds out that loud noises, etc.... dont mean to drop and cringe.
