Boston Terriers PHOTOS!! on 33

Here's Rosto he's a Boston mix. We wouldn't trade him for anything. He's the best dog we have ever owned! His dad was a purebred Boston Terrier, but we aren't sure what his mother was (never saw her). Try petfinder. com. There are hundreds of purebred and mixed breed Boston Terriers in shelters waiting for forever homes. I just took these of Rosto, since he got his first sweater. Amy

Emmit, is GORGEOUS!!!!

Well we didnt hear from the guy about his Boston I was supposed to get, so I had contacted someone else about one, and she emailed me today and offered her to me for only 100 as she needed some money REALLY bad for a bill. UGH I hate that for her, such a young girl with way to much on her plate.

Well they drove to meet us almost half way, she is precious, but TERRIFIED of any and everything!

The girl told us that she had only had her for about 6 months, that the person she got her from had her for breeding, that she has already had one litter of puppies. I asked her if she is spayed, she said she doesnt know! OMG anyway, she looks to be about 4 or 5, though the girl told us she is only 2 yrs old. We received NO vaccine records, NOTHING with her, but a ratty old leash and collar.

She is under weight, coat is a coarse. She to me is a rescue from a poor and I mean that literally, the girl told me things I wont repeat.

I honestly wish I would of brought more cash with me, as even as broke as we are, we have it better than she does.

I am going first thing tomorrow and getting her a new food, (she sent her with some generic mess)

I am calling the Vet first thing when they open, and getting her in for vaccines, worming, and testing.

I tried to take some photos of her tonight, but she is so scared that all that you see, is EYES! lol Poor girl

She came to us with the name Trixie, and while I love the name (right here at Halloween its so appropriate) I wonder if giving her a new name, wouldnt help to put the past in the past for her.

sigh, I know I could of bought a "better" specimen of the breed, but I think she will be just fine once she settles in, and learns the ropes around here. and finds out that loud noises, etc.... dont mean to drop and cringe.

Here are some photos, none are great, but at least you all can see her!! She is still nervous, but coming around!

She goes to the Vet. on Monday morning, that is the first appt they had available!

Thank you, I wish I could get a better picture of her, as she really is a pretty girl! Her coat is rougher than I like, but she was being fed poor quality grocery store feed, but no longer! lol So I am hoping her coat will come in shinier and softer than it is now!

Awwwwwww!! You DID get a cute girl!!! Just wait till she's more settled and you get to see those big, beautiful, brown eyes light up with love and mischief!!

As for the coat, one of ours had a rough patch above her tail (she's almost 4 years) and I used a high-quality human hair conditioner on her, and let it sit literally 10 full minutes. After her bath, she was as soft as a puppy!!! Better food will definatly help her coat (as well as help cut down some on any gassyness issues)

CONGRATS!!!!!

Why does her id tag say 'reward'? To remind you guys to give her lots of rewards (treats)?!?!?!!!

Trixie is precious -- and it sounds as if it was 'meant-to-be' --- she will soon fit right in and never look back -- good for you!
