bourbon red question

Do bourbon red turkeys get better color as they get older. Someone is selling them but there is a lot of grey in them, but they are young.

I agree with Steve. There should be no other color but red and white. If they have gray, then they are either not pure or very good examples of culls and a Sunday dinner!
 
My Bourbon Reds never had gray in them and they are 9 months old (and laying). I would not think that they are pure.
 
If anyone has eggs to ship or birds local to sell, please let me know. Dayton Ohio area
 
Mine all had bourban red and white, even though it wasn't as dark as my older ones but, there is no grey in them. When they were little
