We got 4 khaki campbell ducklings from Tractor Supply on April 27th. They appeared to be around a week old. This is our first batch of ducks and they were straight run. I definitely have two girls. They quack up a storm and honk also, but I know I have one boy (dark campbell)as well. My mystery duck though is Mocha who was quacking at 4 weeks old( the first one to) and all of a sudden lost her? quack. She/he is also getting in green on her wing tips leading me to think it is a boy. No green on the head yet. I know that I will need more girls now if it is a boy. What is your suggestion for male to female ratio with 2 drakes if it is a drake? Do you think it is a boy? Thanks for all suggestions and help.

I'm not sure if its a drake. Watch for the curled feather which will become noticeable between 2-4 months old and listen to the quack which will turn soft and rough if a drake. A good ratio is 4-5 ducks per drake. Hope this helps :)

It's all about the quack. At first when my Khaki Wiggles started to quack she was quiet so we worried she was a boy, but now she's loud as heck lol so we know she's a girl haha. I have a blue Swedish duck who is female and has a blue/ green feather on her wing.
