This is a Cubalaya mix I think with a gamefowl of some kind, around 4 or 5 months old. Can anyone recognize the gender?

Yes, in this color variety males and females are way different. The black breast and bright red shoulders mean this is a boy.

It's 100% a cockerel. This coloration is Sexually Dimorphic. Males black Breasted, females Salmon breasted. Though if Wheaten, or partridge, Wheaten girls would be light brownish in color, & females of partridge color would be either light, or dark with pencilled/laced pattern.
