Brahma or Cochin?

I got 10 really nice Brahma hens off Craigslist and want to start hatching their eggs wondering if I should use this rooster?

All are girls, it’s sad when you don’t want boys and you get boys but when you want a boy you get girls.

You could if you want cool almost-Brahma mixes with mixed colors.

That's an oddity. I'd say neither, some barnyard mix. He's not checking off all the right boxes for either.

Haha yeah that’s what I’m thinking. At least until I can find a few legitimate Brahma roosters

The hens are gorgeous, but they're not the standard Brahma colors either (at least not the ones I've seen, which are Buff, Light, and Dark). So imo, you might as well use that rooster with them and have fun with pretty color combinations.

Well, some are splash, blue, or Blue Buff.

That body shape is distinctly Brahma.
Could well be a mix of the two. But he definitely has Brahma in him.

I agree with the others, he is a brahma mix.
