Now you've got me worried...a Cochin and not a Brahma? The store where I bought the chicks do have Cochins, however only bantam Cochins. This is a very tall chick, almost as tall and definately as wide as the roo chick. Does anyone else agree that I have a Cochin chick and not a Brahma?

Cochin or Brahma - is this a pullet?

I've been thinning out each pen and I'm down to a rooster and 2 hens per pen. They seem to have calmed now that there is plenty of room and it will sure be an ease on my feed bill.

Well maybe so but if they had a standard cochin left it doesnt mean they might not have wanted to get rid of it. Alot of places are slimey like that.It just really looks like it has pants and not just feathered feet. Do some searches and look at the differences in them.

That observation came from someone who had no idea if their brahma was a bantam or largefowl. Do not worry.
 
Total guess here, Thailand - judging from his stance and height I would say little roo, but can't tell from his feathers at that angle yet.
