sally: I should be able to start selling hatching eggs in feb/march. and would be willing to ship to PA.

Does anybody know how to make new colors? I have 4 different kinds of brahma and would love more colors, but I'm not willing to fork out hundreds for the ones I've been seeing at auction. If not I'm gonna let the dark roo take on all the colors and just have some random colored brahmas.

cherylcohen: I saw your birds.....GORGEOUS!!! I just can't afford that with my gf being pregnant. I probably will just cross a light roo with a buff hen and then breed back to a partridge. I'm not going to show this year, and I just love how brahmas are so personable. My gf's rooster doesn't crow and will follow you around like a dog....and most of the time if you tell him to do something he will!
You wouldn't have any fancy chicks sitting around for a good price would you? LOL

P.S. Happy New Year everyone.....a little late but I've been busy

Thanks Sally this process of selling my gorgeous flocks has been heartbreaking. The Lyrica (nerve pain meds) they have me on make my head so fuzzy. I even promised some birds to people twice, argh.... It's all good and everyone is happy but I still have some amazing gold partridge pairs that I need to put up.

I love brahmas so much they are the sweetest birds and so gentle to have in a flock. I brought home three gold partridge girls to have at home with my layers. I love them

Fancy chicks "laying around" LOL you are so cute... If I see any I'll let you know! Actually I'm sure I will have some extra gold partridge cockerels. They range in age from 6-7 months and are HUGE

I was hoping you planned to sell some of the spare cockerels...the golds are just beautiful! I am sorry to hear about your health, you have been a good steward to some amazing birds.

I use a ladder roost for all my Brahmas, the first rung is 13 inches from the floor, they are heavy birds and they all want to be on the top rung of the roost. I have had a hen pushed off and she broke her leg, so all my roosts now have a shelve under the top rung with wire trays covered with newspaper for easy clean up and safety.
