Alright sounds good. We need a new incubator, we keep our Sportsman full and a hatcher also,Yep as far as chickens are concerned I got a new incubator, a hatchet, and my SOP is coming in Saturday. Better late than never.

Dang predators. They always pick on the expensive or hard to replace birds.I'll add a couple pictures of my Gold Brahma. I hoped to work on these but the project took a hit from predation. I may hatch out as many chicks as I can from the remaining trio and see what I get. They're only 8 months old at this time.
They don't strike me as real typey when I look at them. What do you guys think?
I was wondering the same thing, I could see a use for both. Not sure if that is a typo and you got a hatcher, or you actually got a hatchet. Either way, both are usefull pieces of equipment, and when judicially applied with the help of your SOP, will improve your breeding program.
We send ours to freezer camp or straight to the oven. Except chicks with obvious defects, they don't make it that far.Yep, a HATCHET is THE most valuable tool in improving your line.
Oh no I fully meant what I typed. I wanted a new one as the old one was dull and had been left outside a few too many times. Not sure if that is a typo and you got a hatcher, or you actually got a hatchet. Either way, both are usefull pieces of equipment, and when judicially applied with the help of your SOP, will improve your breeding program.
