OK, I guess I assumed you were in N.C. anyway Tennessee is in her district as well. She will point you in the right direction. Don't forget to join the Brahma club!

Ok I have called and cannot get ahold of her she is probably busy.

Hi,

New to the breed and am looking for light brahma hatching eggs to NO avail. I guess they are not the fad of the moment so eggs are not so plentiful.

Ive been told that they are not very good egg producers so I was thinking of getting another better laying breed to compliment them. Any suggestions?

Please feel free to send me to someone who has eggs now. I'm ready to buy.

I am looking forward to getting the Dark Brahmas from Wil Hanley I will post pictures once I get them here. Now if I can find another color or two my Brahma goal will be complete.

Ok the guy i got my chicks from said he crossed a buff brahma roo with a dark + light brahma cross. Which hatched sex linked red brahmas. Is that right?

So if I'm reading this right, the female side is a dark/light cross, or a combination of both darks and lights. Either way, crossed to a buff male will produced gold based pullets, and split silver/gold cockerels (which will more strongly favor the silver).

I don't know if I would call them red, likely a much lighter shade, but still gold based.

I believe we got the same pullets.
