I am gona try and get some eggs off ebay because a lot of birds from Dan Powells lines are starting to show up on there. Someone even has Lavenders.

I cannot do eggs cause I don't have an incubator. I want to find someone who will sell me a trio of something.

I know if you want any light's go to Mt. Hope Ohio for the exotic sale. I was there for the last two sales and Id say there where at least 15+ pairs and trios but no other colors.

Well I need the birds shipped or close to me to pick up. Transportation is an issue for me right now to travel.

You want to collect good quality Brahmas of various varieties, but you have no incubator. Do you plan to hatch under broodies ? Or are planning to be like an old time string man, buying your show birds, and not worrying about breeding or hatching ?

Okay I only have the Darks right now I want another color that way I will have something different to look at. I plan on letting the hens hatch all they want. I am a small timer so I do not need an incubator to hatch a bunch off I just keep a few for myself.

I have never had great success hatching under large fowl Brahmas. Not that they were not willing, but seems their weight and size tended to break enough eggs, leading to a fouled nest.

I see well to be honest with you if I do not raise many that is cool with me. Like I said I am a small timer so I just want to keep enough for myself. I just want to get some other colors besides the darks.

You can get a genesis for 150 or so. Concentrate on your Darks....they look pretty good. You really need patience to work with big Brahmas.
