At what age do u think mine will start laying? Yes they are ugly. Crossed dark with lights. Got roos that are light. Pullets are buff. Roos are trying to crow. Sounds like a cat in a blender tho. They are 15 weeks old

My brahma pullet was hatched in June and started laying in February. She has progressed rapidly to the point of giving me five eggs in five days then taking Friday off, she seems to be laying an egg every 26 hours.

Funny you should mention the harness, Gary. Chad has an OLD photo, 100 years plus, of a light cock pulling a small buggy with a toddler in it. They really are HUGE.

Well similar, it was older and actually a Light Brahma.
 
I may should have went with bantams. The bird in the pic looks bigger than the kid in the wagon
 
incubation success, my pair of Buff Brahma large fowl proved themselves fertile and my attempt at incubating their egg worked !!!!

Guy just came and bought some chickens.and saw my Blue Columbian Brahmas and said he didn't like feather legged birds. Boy he doesn't know.what he is missing.

Amazing isn't it! I think once you've had a brahma, you'll never go back to "normal" chickens. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks I guess.
