Pea comb is dominant to a single comb, though from what I've seen, if they are carrying it recessively, It will make for a taller spikier pea comb. A test breeding to a single combed female of any breed will tell the tale.

If I get a broody this spring I was going to try him over my buff orp hen so I guess now I must haha If nothing else they should be a big bird that will go good in the roaster

I love that penciling! May have to add one of those in the future I have two six week olds, one a gold laced and one a buff laced. Still going back and forth over sex. Any clues you can share at that age.
