BRAHMARAMA-UK, MY FAMILY HAS HAD THE 3 ORIGINAL BRAHMA COLORS, DARK,LIGHT, & BUFF FOR OVER 100 YEARS. I REMEMBER MY GREAT GRANDFATHER TALKING ABOUT SHIPPING BRAHMA CHICKS, HATCHING EGGS &ADULT BIRDS ALL OVER THE WORLD. HE SHIPPED A FEW THOUSAND IN OVER 40 YEARS HE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE U.S.A. SO I WOULD SAY YOU MOST LIKELY HAVE THAT U.S.A.( LINEAGE ) IN YOUR BIRDS. BRADY J.

I say Put your Money where your Mouth is . POST THE PHOTOS here . Id like too see some as i know a few breeders in the UK that when i asked about you said WHO ?

These are pics of the Buff male x Light female chicks. This can provide a reference for any who wish to attempt this cross. I will try to provide additional photos as they mature. Neff Buffs x Lindenborn Lights.

Males S/s

Females Buff

Cool thanks. My one pen of light Brahma pullets and buff cockerel should start laying any day now. Their pubic bones have spread to a wee bit over three fingers width. The photos were helpful for telling which will be what color at hatching. Your buffs look like they have a nice dark buff color.

Wow . The head on that smallest Buff looks extra wide.

You've looked at many more of these at this age than I. I can't judge much at this age. I just shovel the food at them til I can.

The sex-linked part is fun.

My lights started laying today! I got one of those eggs without a shell while I was busy cleaning the coop. Only strange thing was that there was another yolk sack thing attached to it.

I AGREE LET HER FEED YOU NOT GO TO WASTE, it is a shame but those things happen.

We culled our hen this week. Her eyes continued to stay swollen shut (still unsure if they were still in there or not). She was at moms farm and was the first cull shes ever done. I wasnt there. She will be our saturday meal. Poor thing. She was our largest.
