My understanding was Dan Powell i believe was looking for a laced buff when he found these Palominos. Also wondered if either look more likely to produce a more laced effect feather or if its possible to tell AT ALL.

I have found with my bantam buff Brahmas that the pullets have dark heads and the cockerels golden when they hatch. I have babies hatching right now!Does anyone know if Dark Brahma can be sexed by colour? Light breast vs dark breast?
Im no bird breeding expert in anyway but if it were mine i would look at other ppls Brahma roos find one with saddle you want get eggs or some hens or pullets from that roo and then breed for that saddle. with your rooJust for curiosities sake how would one go about increasing the diamonding in a males saddle feathers? My males just kind of have black no real "diamond" shape in their saddle feathers.
You need to keep females with black in the saddle/cushion area to improve saddle color in males. A good example of the difference in breeder birds and show birds. You have to keep good breeder birds to produce your showbirds.Just for curiosities sake how would one go about increasing the diamonding in a males saddle feathers?
