Two of my brahma roosters are trying to fight through the wire. Last time this happened they got staff and a few died. Should I just go ahead and treat for staff now?

I think I'm going to have to. This is the second time and I'm making it the last.Or just strap plywood to the wire so they can't see each other?
I had a few fighting thru the wire like that, i put plywood about24 inches high between them. Two of my brahma roosters are trying to fight through the wire. Last time this happened they got staff and a few died. Should I just go ahead and treat for staff now?
my guess on that top bird would still be a hen.
I searched the property for spare wood today. I found some to put in between two of the pens I just need to do the other divider and it will be good. I think when I go back out tonight I will put the roosters and hens where they belong since now they won't be fighting. I took them and temporarily put them in the two far pens and left the lone hen in the center one. Need to swap the lone one and the one trio tonight.I had a few fighting thru the wire like that, i put plywood about24 inches high between them.
