If anyone is interested, found a breeder from Bath, NY for dark & buff brahmas - going to be picking up 2 roos & 1 more hen this Sunday!

Two of my Roosters. Front is 1st generation. (His foot feathering is gone cause he pulls it out)

Back is 2nd generation. A little improved. Still growing.

Front one is being sold tomorrow. His quailty just isn't good. But he has become a favorite.  Bye bye, my friend. /img/smilies/sad.png

2nd generation hen. He name is Limpy. She is probably our worst Brahma as far as standards. But she too is a pet. >.< We always get attached to the ones that need to go. Note her messing lacing on her back. She should be white. Except her tail and hackles.

Sorry. But my good hens are currently torn up due to roosters. So no pictures.

Sadly for me some of my roosters are leaving tomorrow. Good news for the hens though.
. Can you give me a little info on the standard of perfection of the brahma I don't know to much but have some interest in them

I just got a light brahma hen, she is 2 years old. She is in pretty poor condition right now, but despite that, can anyone tell what her quality is? PS: her back end is very plucked, probably from the roosters she was with.

Hard to say how good she is since she is in major need of conditioning. Head width looks good; nice "beetle brow." Needs more leg feathering down that middle toe. Tail is carried a bit too high. She doesn't appear to be SQ to me but yet BQ. She looks like she will have to much smutty coloring when she is feathered all the way in. That's a good thing though if you breed her. Will you take a picture of her back to show us her overall width? A rear view would be nice also. I like her comb as sometimes oea combs can get pretty ratty looking or just appear non existent. Overall she looks like a good finding. If she was with the roosters when you bought her I would incubate any eggs she lays within the next two weeks. She may not lay as she is probably stressed but you never know.
