Daniel Dysart and Glenn See were the judges. Of course I had to get my picture taken for the poultry press

. It's a good thing those are in black and white to hide the poop that had managed to get on my pants throughout the day.

I don't pick mine up much, maybe to check wing color, general development, in the youngsters, or move to new pens, and so on. I wish they were wild enough that you didn't have to be so carefull of not stepping on their toes, or footfeathers, when in the coop.

Are they good layer I have 3 dark brahams

Mine usually lay every other day. I find that the size of the bird affects this a lot with my birds.

Alot good information here on this thread. I have one light brahma just bought her last Saturday from a breeder that order several chicks and had just her mixed in. Today I order Pair of Brahma 2 month old at BeggarTicks Farm in Williamsburg Ky.( On facebook). Be getting them end this week. Will post pics. Interested breed.

Whoops.....what I meant to say is, I LOVE my Dark Brahma!!! Bone is easily becoming one of my favorites of my bunch!!!! Such an easy going breed....

Thank I just got 3 on weekend don't no yet what the are bantams or standards a lady gave them to us for free.
