Yep as far as chickens are concerned I got a new incubator, a hatchet, and my SOP is coming in Saturday. Better late than never.

I'll add a couple pictures of my Gold Brahma. I hoped to work on these but the project took a hit from predation. I may hatch out as many chicks as I can from the remaining trio and see what I get. They're only 8 months old at this time.

They don't strike me as real typey when I look at them. What do you guys think?

I got another incubator and the SOP too. Plus my dad is going to go half with me on chicks from Paul Smith and half on some local chickens.

Not sure if that is a typo and you got a hatcher, or you actually got a hatchet. Either way, both are usefull pieces of equipment, and when judicially applied with the help of your SOP, will improve your breeding program.

Hope everyone here had a great holiday!!!! It was quite nice to see my grandfather up and moving again after nearly a month in the hospital, along with the rest of the family at dinner. Wishing everyone a great new year!
