Here is a pair I have, hatched from eggs off of ebay. They have excessive foot feathering and the girl's penciling is muddled, so I assume they cam from average, modest stock. Still, I ust love them and they are the only birds that have complete run of the place, 24/7.

out of the 3 common colorations, which rooster would you say seems to be the nicest in temperment? or do all 3 seem to be just as good as the others?

Of the three common colorations, my light roo is the nicest. My favorite is actually a partridge roo, but they are almost impossible to find. My most aggressive is a buff roo named Hannibal, because he will eat you alive! I have a young dark roo who is a little stand-offish but not mean. My nicest girl is also a light. She will sit in my lap for as long as I will let her.

My buff is a sweetheart. I guess, roos are roos. Doesn't sound like color makes too much difference. I love these birds, considering going to an entire flock of them.

If anyone on this Brahma thread has any hatching eggs, please PM me. I'm always trying to improve and hatch. I am starting to get some LF dark brahma eggs but not enough to sell on a consistent basis. I have a couple of buff brahma chicks I hatched in November but right now it is hard to tell the sex.

Here is a picture of a Pullet and a cockerel that are Hatchery stock and around 6 months when the pictures were taken.
There a lot bigger and fuller now. ( I have to update pictures )..
