I don't know why, but I think the palomino ones are still speaking to me...

Thanks, I am glad that the Palomino brahmas have caught the attention of a few people. I have passed them on to another breeder that plans to continue with them.

Thanks Big Medicine. Some of the crosses are huge and some look to have great type, but so far none seem to have it all. The way they are looking at this age makes me want to put them in the freezer more than in a harness.

I agree, I am convinced every year about this time that there is not a single cockerel worth keeping. I just bite the bullet, keep shoveling the feed, and see what these ugly ducklings turn into. It's those gangly uglies that some times suprise you.

Here are a few of my light brahma pullets, they are about 12 weeks, then I have some 7 wk old chicks and 2 cockerel chicks, Im trying to tame them down, they seem quite shy. Hopefully they will come around, otherwise they are great birds I LOVE my girls.

Hi, me again I was wondering what you do with your hen that you cull because they aren't good enough, I don't want to breed chicken but I do love my lt Brahma with the poor feathering and would love to get a buff and or dark later on I think they are so beautiful. I know Tim doesn't sell his eggs but does anyone sell imperfect birds as layers?

We got BV, RB and Reserve Feather leg with this pullet yesterday at the West Texas fair in Abilene. Also got RV with a Buff cockerel. And a first place with a light cockerel. BB and champ feather leg was a SUPER light pullet by Spence/Williams. It was a good show and the Brahmas were well represented.

Tim, if you can breed this caliber birds your first year of breeding, then I cant wait to see your birds in 5-10 years.
