i only have a light brahma rooster,
but he is very hansome, and huge!
we just love him,

How do we think mine are getting on for type? Will be x breeding the colours next year to get good shape - rooster is columbian and pullets are black laced blues

Today we added two Large Fowl Partridge (Gold) Brahmas to our flock. Both Hens, brining our Partridge number to 3 hens. Hoping I can get a rooster from Shawnee, Ok shows- this color is GORGEOUS - very striking like the Darks (Which I love) so we are pretty excited about the new members to our coop. Thank you Susan Nicolas.
 
It should be close. The Brahmas may have more lacing in their color, but it should be very close. I really think this should be called Gold, but noone seems to know what I am talking about! LOL
 
Partridge/Gold in Brahmas should be the same as any other partridge colored breed, however I believe Rocks are darker and possibly have some mahogany in them. They are in fact different though.
