This weekend we are going to build the partridge pen. A couple of my girls are starting to lay, so I have to get them separated from my light Brahma roo so they can all be Danny's and Junior's girls (not Rowdy's yet, he's not even crowing). No more free ranging for them! By Christmas, I'll be trying out a few in my incubator, and I'll be sending you some to try, too, Illia. We are also going to build a separate coop and pen for the lemon pyles, too.

More pics to make you drool!

This is Casey. He's such a gangly looking teenager! He stands about 30 inches tall from head to ground, and that wasn't even stretching!

My beautiful Maggie May. She's the biggest lap chicken of the bunch. If you are outside sitting down, she's in your lap!

put me on your list if you ever need to get rid of fertile eggs especially from maggie

I know - I'm going to have to start feeding these girls mega vitamins so they will lay twice as fast!

We just got our first brahma, so I thought I'd join the thread! I would like to introduce you to Brenda the Brahma, who was gifted to me by another BYC-er. She has a really sweet disposition. She's not very old, maybe 3 months? I don't remember exactly.

Isn't she pretty? She's as sweet as she is adorable, too. She's my first feather-legged breed and was an impulse acquisition--I just fell in love with her and couldn't leave without her!
