I have some really nice LF Lights and I hope to be selling eggs in the spring. But it's a not for sure at all. I don't know how well they lay, or I may use them for my own projects. But if all goes well I hope to have some extra to share since I was so blessed with getting them. Kendra was a really nice person, and she has some if not the best LF Lights. I recommend her if your looking for some! She doesn't ship anything though, and is really hard to get some from.

So here goes another dumb question...hatched a bunch of dark brahmas....are the males gonna feather a different color then the females or are they all going to have the penciling on them.

If you look back on this thread, you'll see some pics of dark brahmas both male and female. The males feather totally different than the females.

Not dumb to me - or to others just starting out. Please keep the dumb questions coming.

So if I'm understanding this correctly the males will have none of the lacing which would mean i hatched all girls

If I were to cross my lone Buff Bantam Brahma to a Barred Bantam Cochin. Roo, what colors would I get ? Would the chicks be a nice broody cross ? If that makes sense LOL

Email or PM me and I can see if I can help you work it out. You may be able to contact the American Brahma Club to see if there are others. I don't remember if you were looking for anything specific: type, color.

See post # 2289, or look on the first page of this thread for some great birds - you will see the colors of the roos.
