No - these birds didnt come from Janice, although she has some massive birds - I have seen them (at night) and they are large!

The Darks came from Susan Nicolas as did the Partridge Hens - the Partridge Roo came from Dee Mejestrik in Iowa. I took the pics of the chicks and are uploading them to photobucket now.

Partridge two and three just hatched...so glad 9 total so far today!

Thought I would post a pic of my Buff Brahma bantams I bought a month or so ago. They are starting to lay now. Really sweet birds and I am really enjoying having them around. Birds came from Chad Spence and Bob Choate.
Not going to show them this year but they will be shown next year.

Very nice Buffs. You can show the chicks you hatch in the fall shows. We need more people showing Brahmas here. That male looks like one of mine.

This is a pic of my dark Brahma with the girls. I don't have any others to compare him to. He is my only one. What do you think? He is really good with the girls but has to be re-homed due to the noise levels when he's awake. That could be any time, day or night!

He's a pretty Roo - his worst feature in this photo is the excessive white in the black. Can't really tell much about his confirmation due to the Angle of the picture. How old is he? How much does he weigh? He could be a little wider across the back and through the chest.

Tim,
I bought these at the Brazos Valley poultry show at the beginning of January this year. They are super nice birds and I really enjoy them. One pullet has been laying pretty regular and looks as though the other two will be starting soon.
I had Light and Buff Brahma bantams 25 years ago and have always liked them.
John
