Sableboi......Mrs Grey thanks you for complimenting her brows! Currently she is still with her Naked Neck babies (well somebody else's'), but she'e like a trip across the pond. Not only is she ever-broody, but she reserved her attentions only for my lovely 15 pound Dark Brahma roo who I lost due to illness a short while ago. However I have 3 virtual carbon copies of Mrs Grey....her daughters, one of whom has already been broody at under a year old, and two aged 24 weeks who haven't started to lay yet. I'll get them a nice big Dark fellow to breed with next Spring.

What is the ideal amount of feathering on the legs/feet? Most of mine are very heavily feathered and I'm hoping this is a desirable trait.

Cheryl, I think there are Blue Partridge in the States, but I am in the UK where they are less common than Dark, but there are a few around.

OH FUN! I'm getting birds from greenfire, can't wait. Hope you are going to breed them, it would be great to have two lines on the west coast

That's my eventual plan.

Maybe we could even share eggs to ensure good genetic diversity?!
