That's what I was thinking as well. Def a mixed bird def gold laced and probably a buff in as well. If it's hatchery it's probably not a project bird just a result of having all their stuff mixed together.

It seems to have good foot feathering. The only other thing of can think of is a GL Cochin and not many of those floating around either.

I noticed Cackle has GL Cochins on their website. Maybe two young lovers found a way to be together against the odds. The bubble gum comb is neither pea or single, but I have seen pure brahmas approach the same type of comb.

Has more lacing than I would expect in a first generation columbian/ single lace cross. Mine have all looked very columbian with just partial specks of lacing.

There is a pretty good diagram about 2/3s of the way down this page as what to expect with one copy (heterozygous) of Pg and Ml genes.

I have these boys from my split pen who are similar. (Cochins)

Could be. Checking old photos, the males did have more pronounced lacing than I remembered, must have been thinking of the females. The white birds are first generation cross of silver laced, and light Brahmas.

Just out of curiousity Dak, what is the non laced parent of your birds pictured ?
These are second generation splits. The grandparents were Black x GLC then the splits were bred back together. Some got none of ther lacing genes.

Buff Columbian Cochin

Thank you for all of your input. He must just be one of those meant to be birds....first cross bred and then coming as a "packing peanut" and surviving 3 seperate coon attacks. He is a survivor if nothing else. lol
