We have a Brahma pullet, approximately six months old. She is very skittish, but allowed me to handle her which is also unusual. She has a nasty vent leak which I have tried to help by putting probiotics and/or acv in the water. It helps a little, but it's winter (in brutally cold Iowa) and I'm using a bigger container and the water isn't getting changed as often. The other chickens don't have this. Her poop is also found and firm.

I'm also concerned about the white spots that have developed in her eyes. I've never noticed them before. Please take a look... The spots are on both sides.

The eyes may have the beginnings of a localized infection. That's the simplest explanation. So that's what I suggest treating. Flush with saline eye wash, (homemade saline recipe on the internet), and then use terramycin eye antibiotic in each eye twice a day until it clears up. Get the terramycin at most feed stores. Or get it from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Zoetis-Terra...1643557363&sprefix=terramycin+,aps,216&sr=8-1

You need to describe the vent discharge more thoroughly. What does her poop look like? Is the discharge heavy and constant? Is her butt sopping wet from it or just soiled? Does it have a distinctly unpleasant odor? Has she given any indication she might be close to point of lay? Usually Brahmas are slow to mature, but this one could be precocious.

The discharge is just brownish liquid that soaks the feathers around her vent and backside. As I mentioned, her poop is round and firm, brown and white with occasional greenish streaks. It's just soiled. There's no detectable odor. She is still skittish and very much a teenager, I don't expect her to lay until spring or summer.
