Breakfast do you or not?

From the time that I was a kid, the smell of food in the morning has made me nauseous; therefore, I can't jump right out of bed and have breakfast. If I get up quite early (4 or 5 AM), I will have breakfast around 7 or so. Generally I do not have breakfast. It's worked for me for nearly 70 years.

I need to have protein in the morning or I crave carbs the rest of the day.

Mon-Friday at 5:30 am I do an 8 oz chocolate protein drink that I add a splash of raw apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp fiber (orange flavor to cover up the cider vinegar) 1 tsp spirulina. I gulp that down with my vitamins/meds. 1 cup of green tea.

Around 10ish at work, I have a piece of toast with turkey and cheese melted on top.

I do best with a little protein at every meal. Stops the cravings.
 
I'm not much for the traditional breakfast during the week, I go for miso soup with white rice and nori sprinkles for breakfast. Or a quick bok choy stir fry. I usually pack it and have it at work b/c I'm early to work. It seems I feel better when I have a light breakfast as opposed to skipping it all together.
 
For many years it turned my stomach to eat before around 10. Now I eat 2 fried eggs, potatoes with onions, or grits or toast every morning, often before daybreak.
