I didn't even think about simmentals... I should have. We used a simmental bull several years ago. I think that's how I ended up with a pretty girl who's all red with no white at all. She throws calves with typical hereford markings, but with red rings around their eyes.

I hope you post some pics of the calves when they start calving! Calves are so much fun!

I love the panoramic shot. They lined themselves up very nicely in terms of color. Almost all the cows in our area are black or black and white, yours are much more interesting.
