Breda fowl

Just curious what you all think of breda fowl. I think they are beautiful. I have recently hatched one chick and have another dozen in my incubator.

Interesting historical background on the hybrid breed. Never heard of them till now. They seem to be very cold hardy and what I noticed was hardly any comb to none. Great for frozen zones in the U.S.

They described it as a very large bird and also dual purpose breed.

They look like very cool birds - no comb, and those crests! Great variety of colors, too.

I love Bredas! I have raised them for several years now, both mottled and the bbs varieties. They are very talkative and the bbs are friendly, the mottleds not so much. There is an active FB page Breda fowl USA
