Breed Please?

I never thought of that :lau. That would be hilarious to turn out with a breed like that out of random chance :lau

We picked him up at a reptile show, they were there as snake and lizard feeders. My daughter and grandson each picked one to rescue. Who knows really what they are or where they even came from. I was afraid they would be roosters since they were technically feeders, I figured chance was high since they were sold for $1.

They probably knew they were roosters if that were the case. Start following gender ID threads oh this site and I bet you'll figure out how to tell pretty early on. It can be tricky when they're very young but most of the chicks I've dealt with ,since doing that sort of research for myself, I've been able to sex very early on.

I don't know who would have the heart to feed a little chick to a snake! :hit

I am 80 percent sure that is a Dixie Rainbow.

It’s hard when you have reptiles. We need to feed mice, rats and buggies of all sorts. We breed the rats and try to at least give them good lives while they are growing. I wish their diet didn’t consist of critters . My daughter would take them all in if she could?

It being eaten by a snake probably at least gives it a point to life. At least it didn't get ground up in a machine or thrown in the trash.
