We're trying to compile data on the different breeds to include on the Progressive Chick Photos pages.

So I need your help with a couple things!

First, what info is important to have about each breed, particularly when you are trying to ID a bird? Here's the list I have so far.

Standard/Bantam:
Colors:
Comb Style:
Skin/Foot Color:
Clean/Feather Footed:
Other Defining Characteristics:
Egg Color:
Mature Weight (Roo/Hen):
Age at Maturity:

Secondly I need all you breed police to fill in that info for me!!!

Besides the photos of chicks from each breed as they grow we are also trying to collect pictures of adult birds of each color for that breed. If you have photos you're willing to share please let me know and/or post them on the photobucket site we are using for this project. www.photobucket.com/BYCUploadChickPhots.

Thanks for your help ahead of time!

Personality is a BIG issue for me. My mom says the first roo that pecks at her is going in the freezer.... I figure that personality is pretty important there.

I would say

Class: ex. American, Oriental, French, Continental
ALBC Priority: how endangered the breed is

I like the idea of puttin in if they are broodies or not

Im keeping documentaion on all the breeds I am keeping on word documents to document everything i can find on the breed and my own experiences and breeding notes
