The Rooster I got from a local farm and have no idea what he is the hen I got off of Murry mcmurry hatcheries as a Americana but she lays Brown eggs so she's not any idea what they are?

looks like he is most definitely an australope. Here's a picture of one. I have one so I'm pretty sure this is what the black one is. Everyone is right about the other one she is an Americana

Australorps have single combs - his is not single. 'Americana' is not a breed.

Agree, the hen is a EE. They can lay any color of egg. The roo is a mixed breed. He may have some EE or Ameraucana in there. Not every black chicken is an Australorp.

its called a pea comb some chickens just develops it . my australorp has one just like it.

yes they do but that doesnt mean they can't develops a pea comb some times it just happens. And yes I slept Americana wrong. Your point?
