She’s extremely sweet. Her dad is a buff Orpington. I’m not sure of the mom.
 
No clue on breed (I’m still in the “brooder”, lol) but just wanted to say she’s a beautiful bird!
 
There is no "breed" here as she is mixed hybrid.

You know half of the father BO...but my guess is your mother hen would be mixed and as I understand it would have to be split to black (black is dominant)...so the mother was a black mix in order to have that much Buff bleed through otherwise the chick would be solid black if mother was an Australorp with *some* possible Buff bleed through.

Do you have somebody Columbian? It reminds me of the Columbian pattern with a Buff body base.

That is not the case with self buff (more commonly referred to as buff). First generation buff x black crosses usually do produce chicks with excessive buff leakage. Look up “buff Orpington black australorp cross” and you’ll see what I mean.
