What breed are these 2? And is there a way to tell gender? Very new to chickens. Just got them yesterday, and first time owner. This site is awesome with info!

You will have to wait until they are a it older to tell the breed and gender, wait a few weeks and report back

Black chick looks like a Barred Plymouth Rock. The other chick may be a Buff Orpington. It is too young to determine gender.

Production Reds. It looks like perhaps three pullets and three roosters.
