Breeding Beta Fish???? info?

I got a betta fish!! and i thought it would be cool to breed some just for fun.......I have researched alot about the breeding but i was wondering has any one ever bred betta fish hard? any info on it would be nice thanks!

I was once considering it...but then the pet store person told me I needed a 40 gallon tank if I wanted to do it. Then went and looked at the price of 40 gallon tanks...I found a different hobby, but I still wish I could have done it.
