Let me start by saying, WELCOME.

This thread isn't a pity party for anyone. I started it with the intentions of letting those who do get ignored finally be acknowledged. And there's PLENTY of members who post in "already established conversation" and in random threads who never get a response from anyone. And that's the reason those members don't start a game, introduce a joke, or anything else...they've been dissed once (maybe more) so why should they expect anything different by starting their own thread? And for those of us who have already posted in this thread...we're the ones who are stepping up to make others feel welcome and comfortable.

That's why we have so many posts...trying to get noticed! Not really, well sort of. I do make it a point to welcome newcomers and "bump" up threads asking for help with no response. I have engaged in conversations, only to be the thread killer and totally ignored. It's get old... so I stop posting, and start lurking. When people say "people are busy", well, duh. They're right there posting on the thread, having a converstion with the chosen few and that's it! It's hard to get them to include you in on the conversation. Once in awhile, when I directly adddress the chosen one they might throw me a bone. Yeah, that's how it feels. It's like kiss my butt! There's alot of people that have left the thread becuz of this...I know for a fact. And that's really sad!

Sometimes, it's just nice for a poster to hear that someone out there is reading what they have to say. So just by saying "I'm here and listening", you are making them feel acknowledged.
