My pittie was a brindle. He was agressive at the shelter when the guy sprayed cleaner in his eyes and choked him with a chocke chian. He said "you sure you want this dog? If not we are going to gas him in a few minutes. He is very, very aggressive." I said yes. I gave him the adoption fee and he hung him by the neck from the shelter to the car and threw him in the car. I was scared to take the chocke chain off but I slowly did. He growled and showed teeth but if he bit me it was my own fault. I pulled him onto my lap and took it off. He slept all the way home as I petted his head. My mom was scaredof him but as we pulled into the driveway she slowly petted his head. She fell in love with him. My moms boyfriend used to be "all pitts are aggressive. they are born to kill". After he met cujo (my pitties name) he is now "All pitts are nice if they are trained by good owners" Cujo would only be aggressive to the plastic hamburger toy. He would shake it, slam it and stomp it. When we move to NC I am getting another pitt.
